Oksana Oleksiiva is a Ukrainian artist. By education, a fashion designer, a jurist. Boundlessly in love with Ukrainian vegetation. A connoisseur of ancient Ukrainian folk embroidery. Since 2014, she began to research and study it using ancient embroidered things of Ukrainians. By which you can explore the Ukrainian ethnos and learn special, unique to Ukraine, hand embroidery techniques. Until 2022, she lived in Odessa and grew her garden. She was inspired by it. After the start of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, she was forced to leave her native country. Currently lives in Munich, Germany. Oksana draws inspiration from the surrounding vegetation and culture of the Ukrainian people. She paints botanical illustrations in watercolor and experiments with different techniques and materials.
