The foundation of her work resides in the process of balancing color and texture, allowing the viewer to experience the artwork as a meditative yet dynamic space. She often relies on daydreaming and her meditation practice to create art, and because of that, most of her work is born from an intuitive, visual soul regression that deals with feelings, thoughts, urges, and memories. Ioana's pieces are typically composed of multiple layers of acrylic, which are painted through numerous stages, evolving with layers upon layers added and joined in increasing complexity.
