My art is an extension of my internal landscape. Often color, intentional symbolism and spontaneous abstraction combine in my work to depict my own subjective sight. While in other pieces, capturing the physical world by observing it with scientific precision is my goal.
Regardless of the subject, my work is an act of reverence for what I “see”. The inner mirror of my quiet perception works on a spectrum from surreal to realism. There is always an element of science and method in my work, but the balance between wild intuition and control are always tempered with my spirit as I strive to reach for something just beyond the visible.

B.A. English
Having switched to a B.A. in English over a degree in art, Lee nevertheless has consistently produced art. Her love of literature and the archetypes that flow from it often find their way into her subjects.
Lee works in oils, acrylics, colored pencil and watercolors interpreting subjects in a style that ranges across the spectrum between fantasy and realism.
