Veronique Vella Muskat Cassar

Veronique Vella Muskat (Cassar ) is a Maltese Self-Taught artist. Art has been a favourite passion of hers ever since she was a child.She comes from a family of artists who have inspired her in many ways. Veronique's first painting was The Spirits in the Tree at the age of 24 and her technique has evolved ever since. She loves experimenting with colours, materials and techniques yet her chosen medium is oil because it allows her to build the desired texture and effect she strives to achieve in her paintings. Her inspirations are music, emotions, life and the rich Mediterranean colours.
Masters who have inspired her are Van Gogh and Dali.

Her vision is constantly constructed and reconstructed, influenced by her emotions and life experience. She expresses her reality, her needs, thoughts and emotions through her brush strokes and subjects. The natures of her paintings vary from the sensual and erotic to the masculine or feminine identity found in her trees. Her major wish is to inspire and transpire emotions with her paintings. Her journey in the beautiful world of Art has just started.
