Ricci Ricci is a contemporary Italian artist who lives and works in Italy.
Since childhood, Ricci has shown a strong passion for painting, starting early with oil on canvas and depicting scenes from everyday life. He studied technical drawing and screen printing, and also explored psychology, which deeply nourishes the emotional layers of his work. Over time, he has combined drawing and poetry, embracing art as a total form of expression.
His painting is instinctive and visceral—a tactile language that explores themes such as toxic love, isolation, depression, diversity, and civil rights. He works with mixed techniques, blending oil, acrylics, watercolors, enamel, and natural spices (such as turmeric, saffron, beetroot, and coffee), along with unconventional materials like staples, plastic fabrics, and metal.
Deeply inspired by poetic cinema and music, Ricci creates surrounded by the sounds of Ville Valo, Metallica, George Michael, The 69 Eyes, and Bon Jovi—fuel for his artistic fire.
He has exhibited in various shows across Italy.
