Although I have been interested in art for many years, I didn't feel capable of painting myself for a long time. But when I finally followed my calling, a longing for the elementary quickly crystallized: elementary in expression, elementary in the use of materials.
My abstract paintings are created from an impulse, an inner dynamic. There is no pre-planning and no script. Emotions are never one-dimensional and therefore my paintings often contain different expressive structures made from natural materials such as marble powder, intonaco or coffee. The colors used in the further processing are mainly produced by hand from pigments or chalks. Application and removal - the painting often undergoes an eventful history until structure and color have grown together into a coherent whole.
