Pierre Petrel

I am Pierre Petrel, painter from Paris. I have devoted my life to painting. I was always fascinated by the interaction of light with matter, and the impressionism is for me the most appropriate style to express it. I am quoted at the Drout for this same French impressionist technique. I use the traditional technique, oil painting with a brush.

It all began when I was 12 in drawing and painting preparatory schools until admission to the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, followed by numerous exhibitions in the Paris region and abroad. Then I specialized in art restoration, modeling, Roman frescoes and al secco, iconography, gilding and interior decoration.
