Someshwarananda Somu

My name is Pramod Kumar Shakya. I was born in Nepal. From a very young age, I felt a deep attraction to both art and spiritual exploration. Listening to this inner calling, I pursued my studies at the College of Fine Arts at Kathmandu University, where I graduated in 1995. It was during this time that my artistic journey truly began. At the same time, my interest in meditation started to grow, and I began practicing various forms of meditation, which gradually became an essential part of my life.
A year later, I left my homeland and traveled to India in search of a deeper spiritual path. In 2003, I received initiation from my Guruji and embraced the life of a Sanyasi (monk). During those years, I spent long periods meditating in the caves of Badrinath and traveling to many temples and sacred places across India. My life during that time was devoted to understanding myself and exploring the roots of human pain and suffering, while cultivating deep respect and compassion for all forms of life.

After many years of intense spiritual practice and inner exploration, I gradually came to understand myself more deeply. This long search has brought me to a place of inner peace. Today, I can say that my search has found its fulfillment. If p...
