Florencio Gelabert (1961, Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban-American contemporary artist. His practice is based on sculpture, installation and large-scale projects where he explores nature, architecture and ecology. Gelabert's work has been presented in collective and individual exhibitions in: Palau de la Virreina, Barcelona, Spain; Museum of Black Civilization, Dakar, Senegal; Art Nexus Foundation, Bogotá, Colombia; The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Bronx, NY; Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College, New York, NY; Museum of Art + Design, Miami, FL.
