Francisco Pou, whose works are already part of collections in Los Angeles, Barcelona, and Madrid, is now beginning a new professional stage in which his painting is emerging as a new artistic proposal, with exhibitions already scheduled throughout the year. Around twenty works will be presented, most of them large-format acrylic pieces.
His work focuses on abstract expressionism, with a strong passion for materiality alongside acrylic paint, aiming to create powerful compositions in which forms come to life through vibrant colors that evoke geographical atmospheres—earth, seas, or forests.
His practice ranges from reductions to a distilled simplicity, leaving the spotlight to the interplay of colors, to the meticulous deconstruction of nature into a symphony of impressions.
Pou developed his artistic vision learning from the renowned Alberto Guerrero, trained with Miguel Llanos, and strongly influenced by Sean Scully and Rothko.
After completing numerous private commissions, he begins 2026—within this new stage of dedication—with a packed agenda of events and exhibitions that position his studio in Villanueva de la Cañada (Madrid) as a new emerging creative hub, projecting toward increasingly solid new destinations.
