SHIPPING AND RETURNS

The painting ``Blind tree`` is a childhood memory about parents` garden and about my father, who always likes to bring his coffee and to sit above the apple tree in the middle of our garden. Sweet memories bring to me the important idea how children keep in their minds the memories about bad or good...

My art work is always experiment. From my childhood I enjoyed to make strange things and to use nontraditional materials in my paintings. I don't set out to produce art about one subject or another. My every idea comes to me as a surprise after I saw, touched, smelled or felt something. I am a big fan of literature, history and traveling – these three give me big help in my art work. I associate interesting things from every day life with deep spiritual ideas I want to share with a world and then express them together through my own style and very strange medias. Also I often use ethical motifs in my works – from Ancient Greece myths to Slavic fairy tales. My work tends to focus on inner side of things in the environment, the evolution of man and his material wealth, the development of bigger and bigger cities, more and more people, cars and industry on the planet and the consequences this has on nature. I always want to give a new point of view to people, sent a positive message - the persistence of nature in recapturing what once belonged to the earth. During the whole life, my curiosity was making me some adventurous. The biggest was my decision to come to London from Ukraine and to change my career for which I spent seven years to art work. My art work was intentional - it all developed and evolved over time. People always ask for my artist statement so I needed to do one but I've never liked to explain a certain piece of work - if you've made a picture and that's how you wanted it to be - hopefully it can speak for itself and whatever it says to the viewer - it's the right message because there isn't a wrong and a right message. Each person takes something a little different from the same picture and I'm happy with that. Last year my artwork takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. In my work, I deconstruct the family dream, fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and lullabies that are part of our childhood and adult culture. Having engaged subjects as diverse as the civil rights movement, southern rock music and modernist architecture, my work reproduces familiar visual signs, arranging them into new conceptually layered pieces. While I use a variety of materials and processes in each project my methodology is consistent. Although there may not always be material similarities between the different projects they are linked by recurring formal concerns and through the subject matter.
