Asela Abeywardene

I grew up in Sri Lanka, which is a tiny tear-drop shaped island that lies in the Indian Ocean just below India. The tropical paradise which surrounded me as a child formed my love for nature and nature is usually captured in all my work.
My art could be called conceptual, expressive and figurative. I prefer to convey my views, opinions, and feelings through my work and tend to use the human form as I usually address the human condition.
