Esseggi Forty Niner

My name is Sergio Ghione. Born 76 years ago in Venice, I grew up in Milan before settling in Pisa, where I pursued my medical studies and worked as a clinician and clinical investigator. At 65, I retired and dedicated myself to painting, attending the Accademia d'Arte in Pisa directed by Bruno Pollacci.
My artistic journey has embraced a range of different styles and approaches. My latest work focuses on color, structure, and rhythm in abstract and informal compositions, mainly based on primary colors—yellow, red, and blue. I've written 3 books.
