Born and raised in a small town at the gates of the Danube Delta, showing artistic inclinations since primary school, Marcela pursued more practical direction of an engineering profession, because an artistic career was considered too bohemian in a post-communist era.
A degree in engineering + master's degree in the database later, she joined the IT industry in Bucharest, then in 2010 she moved to Brăila - it seems that the Danube called her, where Marcela spent another 10 years programming economic applications.
In 2020, Marcela rediscovered her passion for painting and took her chances as an artist.
His works are in several private collections.
