I am a visual artist based in the Netherlands. My paintings and drawings form the core of my practice. Working with ink and paint, I explore themes of space, perspective, and connectedness – with nature, with each other, and with time. Mountains often appear as recurring motifs: both as landscapes to move through and as inner spaces inviting silence and encounter. I was trained at Minerva Art Academy in Groningen and at CCAC in San Francisco, and I hold a Master of Fine Arts from the Dutch Art Institute. My work has been supported by the Dooyewaard Stipend and a residency at the Blaricum Artist in Residence programme. Through my art, I seek to capture spaces in transformation – where people have passed, crossed paths, and left subtle traces of presence.
