About Reece Rawland

Born 1962, Reece was first educated in special primary teaching then progressed to became Education Officer at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, she has been a farmer, managed a commercial slipway, lived on a 52ft sloop, traveled the world, is downright amazing and has a professional graphic arts background with extensive work in color theory.

She has serviced the top end of the Sydney advertising industry in the area of special effects, photo composite, retouching and image creation. Stress release hobbies included gourmet cooking, good wine, photograph, art and the ocean.

Reece has taken a clear and open minded approach to her art and is educated in theory, application and the techniques of the great masters. Irrespective of this, her pursuit has always been purely what appeals to her eye and this has evolved into a unique and individual style to capture the feel of the 3rd millennium and the modern era.

And, that equates to the depiction of a fast moving pixelized world focused on a minimum of information for maximum impact.
