Toto Blaauw is an Amsterdam based artist and designer who concentrates on drawing, printmaking,
painting, art direction, graphic design, product design and furniture design.
With his graphic imagery he portrays his thoughts and truth on contemporary society, history and future.
He uses humour to give balance to serious subjects and uses bright colours to convey emotion.
Duality can be found in his characters, symbols and his use of language.
Each element affects the other in the creation of the whole.
His work has elements of surrealism, post-pop art and sci-fi art.
