Anja Martin

Anja Martin is an abstract acrylic artist creating paintings for modern Interior. Born & raised in Germany, based in the US since 2018.

“Art is my passion ever since I am a little girl. I worked with several mediums like charcoal or watercolor but I found my passion in acrylic paintings. I love the ability to build up several layers of paint, the way colors create that depth & dimension. I continuously try out new techniques & mediums, influenced by perceptions & ideas or my emotions in the moment. To me art is a way to both express and challenge myself. Working on my modern, contemporary paintings allows me to express my feelings in a pure, tangible form. I can block out the world around me and let emotions become colors & textures. At the same time I’m a perfectionist so I care about every single detail on the canvas which might take some days hours or even weeks until I’m satisfied.”

Anja has exhibited in both in Europe & the US and her work has been sold to clients around the world from California to London.
