Samara Hyde Page is a Sydney based painter who is driven by the pleasure of the gesture - how a mark sits on a canvas. Her works are presented as constructions in their own right.
Samara graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from the National Art School in 2017. Her current body of work explores the fluidity of brushstrokes with the playful exploration of negative space.
Samara was the recipient of the National Art School Aboriginal Art Centre Internship in 2017 working at Ernabella Arts in the APY Lands of Central Australia.
Samara is currently undergoing her masters in painting at The Royal College of Art in London.
