Martha Sanders

Over the years my art has reached out to abstract, impressionism, figurative, mythical, magical, imagine imaginative, nature, family, portraits and surreal. My various art styles are a result of phases of my imagination, interest and composition. My medium over the past many years is Watercolor and Acrylic.

I fuse color and design into all my compositions and as a result my paintings are vivid and imaginative. My paintings pull you into an astonishing world of mystery and curiosity.

My variety of painting leads me to discover new and amazing techniques. In my studio time is spent crafting new and original projects. This is my life and I love what I do.

Pablo Picasso is one of my main influences. His work is ageless. He is a genius at his craft. He had such a great ability to capture many human emotions. His various styles and evolution of his work revealed his inspiring art.

My travels to Europe and Egypt

I attended University of Oklahoma. I studied Art History, Painting and Life Drawing.

I was accepted to the San Francisco Art Institute and studies Concepts of Abstraction and Abstraction from Realism.

CityArts Orlando I enter various shows at CityArts and my work is usually accepted.
April 2023, H2O Show affiliated with Orlando Utilities, I sold a very nice piece called Marathon Sunset.
Rosen Centre – Displayed four 48” x 60” original art at main elevator lobby. Also, ten 30” x 40” original acrylic art various parts of the hotel. This entire selection displayed for 12 years.

Mayor’s Gallery – City of Orlando
Orlando Public Library – Solo Show. Exhibited over twenty 20 x 30 average size original art.
