Jill Robb

Jill creates images because she has to, playing with colour is as natural and essential as breathing.

Originally from New England Tablelands and now on the Gold Coast, Jill Robb is an emerging imagery creator, She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry- is that relevant? perhaps. It explains the way she sees things, all bits of energetic stuff interacting the natural way -simple, complex, beautifully weird and quirky.
It also explains her methodology of being experimental. She either works to an idea plan or she doesn't. The media she uses for her imagery includes inks, oil and watercolour paints, charcoal, pastels and also digital for her illustration work.

Ok, so she has also studied Graphic Design, Photography, and Photo Imaging, and of course is always researching new techniques and media, and experimenting with new ways to play.
