Born in 1968, I worked as an illustrator in publishing and advertising for over 20 years from the mid-1990s.
Since then, I changed my direction to fine art and participated in five solo and group exhibitions and have won prizes in domestic
and international competitions over the past 10 years.
My favourite materials are oil and watercolour, and my main theme is the relationship between vision and perception.
I pursue to materialise my theme as harmonious forms on a canvas.
With a style that encompasses figuration and abstraction, I strive to produce thoughtful paintings,
while maintaining a balance between forms and concept.
I run and work in an active studio in Seoul.
