Marie-Ghislaine Beauce

Born in France in 1951, I have always been passionate about textiles; when a teenager I had a dream to become a fashion designer but my background is artisan and color consultant in interior design, creating soft furnishing items for apartments and houses.

I have been a student for many years at the National School of Fine Arts in Nantes (France) where the curriculum included sculpture in clay, interior design, academic drawing as well as personal research in a chosen medium; evidently, I chose to work and experiment with textiles and various materials like painted card board tubes, metal and 8 mm film.
