Lia Aminov

I am a contemporary artist currently based in Rome, working across oil, acrylic, watercolor, and drawing. My practice is rooted in a direct, physical relationship with the medium — I value the tactile presence of paint, the unpredictability of water, and the quiet discipline of drawing.

My work often explores atmosphere, balance, and subtle tension within a composition. Even when a piece feels unusual or unresolved at first glance, I am interested in reaching a point where everything finds its own internal equilibrium.

I don’t approach painting as a purely technical exercise, but as a process of observation and intuition. Some aspects are intentional, others emerge along the way — and I believe that this balance is what keeps the work alive.

Over time, many of my works have found homes in private collections among collectors and art lovers who are drawn to this kind of honest, painterly language.

Alongside original works, I continue to experiment, reflect, and evolve — always returning to the essential question: what makes a painting truly resonate?

My available works are part of a carefully evolving body of paintings, and I welcome collectors who feel a genuine connection with the work to explore and acquire pieces directly.
