Internationally selling artist with collectors in the U.K. US and Australia. Formally trained as a Fine Art painter in the 90's Mark went on to also pursue his love of the moving image and in addition to painting and printmaking now also successfully works as a VFX Supervisor on both feature Films and Television. It is his combined love of the moving image and traditional 2d art that gave birth to Mark's most recent collection of prints based on tv shows and movies, some of which he himself has also worked on as VFX Supervisor. The pieces in his current collection represent every frame of an episode or movie in linear blocks of colour that stacked together create a single snapshot of the entire palette of the original. The prints render the moving image into pixellated landscapes of colour with ever-changing horizons marking the progression and flow of one scene to another. All of Mark's work is professionally printed on Photo Rag 308gsm archival paper using Fine Art inks.
