when I was a kid, my granny used to have olive, orange, mandarin and lemon trees in her garden. Some of them were the most incredible shapes. One in particular, a very old olive tree, was referred to as the magic tree as it seemed to have a face on its trunk. Nostalgia!

Started drawing and painting as a child. Later on I went on to study life drawing and printmaking at the London City Lit, and drawing and painting techniques in the Roman atelier Matearts (Rome, Italy). I'm mainly inspired by nature , its creatures and atmosphes and male beauty. I love naturalisic illustration, the human body and facial expressions and experimenting with colour. I'm also a keen collector of antique sterling silver. I was partly brought up in Britain and partly in Rome, Italy.
