EDUCATION
Danielle Friedman is an artist and educator born in New York. Their work is an investigation into home. Woven with an art historical thread, they are inspired by human relationships, material play & the world of interior design.
Following a degree in Studio Art from Brandeis University, they moved to Mexico City in 2009 as recipient of a Mortimer-Hays Fellowship to design and produce a line of handmade fluorescent oil paint.
They earned their MFA in Painting & Printmaking at Yale University in 2015 & is a recent artist-in-resident at Dumfries House Scotland, GAKKO Project in Japan & Fountainhead Residency in Miami.
