Daria Petrova is a Ukrainian-born artist based in Poland. Working primarily with oil on canvas, she explores the human figure as both presence and symbol — a vessel of strength, tenderness, memory, and emotion.
Her painting practice centers on the duality of vulnerability and resilience. Through textured, gestural brushstrokes, she captures not just the surface of the body but the invisible pulse of experience within. Her figures are never passive: they breathe, ache, and speak in silence. She does not seek to provoke, but to witness — to reflect something deeply human.
At the heart of her work lies the concept of love as a universal connective force. Love not as sentiment, but as a visual language — something we can see and feel before we name it.
Daria’s latest collection explores the delicate tension of human relationships, where each body becomes a site of shared experience. Her art invites viewers to slow down, to feel the echo of gesture, and to see themselves within another.
In a world so often marked by division, her work is an offering of presence — a quiet celebration of beauty, of empathy, and of our common human condition.
