Jean Leighton

Ms. Leighton, along with 14 other artists, was a founder of the Coconut Grove Art Festival. She was a past vice president and a member of the board of directors for the Women's Caucus for Art in Miami. She also was a founding member of 2+3, a Broward County art group. She staged several individual exhibits and participated in more than 70 group exhibitions of her work.

In 1999 Jean Leighton was inducted into the Broward County Woman's Hall of Fame.
