David Maltez

I'm a multidisciplinary artist. Although keen on exploring any art form and style, the majority of my work has been so far based on visual arts (photography, illustration, drawing, animation +) and music, going through a wide variety of themes and approaches.

My work is featured in a few private and public collections in Portugal, Greece and the United States.

I have a (Pre-Bologne) Degree in Visual Design by IADE - Creative University.
Complementary studies in photography by Atelier de Lisboa (with photographer Bruno Pelletier Sequeira), the IPF (Portuguese Photography Institute) and the International Center of Photography in New York where I had the privilege to learn with renowned photographers/artists Richard Renaldi and Kristin Holcomb.
I attended for some years the Hot Club Lisbon Jazz School and the Regional Conservatory of Algarve. Piano as main instrument. I also made a short drama course and had a few gigs as theatre actor and Tv anim. cartoon voice actor.
