JAMES VAN IPO (JVIPO) is an Austrian artist working between digital image-making and physical mixed media objects.
His works begin as digital compositions and are translated into layered surfaces using acrylic, epoxy resin, matte and gloss contrasts. Each piece is hand -finished and developed through multiple physical stages, turning the image into a tangible object.
His practice explores the tension between precision and imperfection, flatness and depth, code and material presence.
