Juan Diego Arango (born in 1964) is a Systems Engineer and a passionate photographer. His interest in photography began several years ago, driven by curiosity and a desire to capture meaningful moments.
In July 2020, I was selected as one of the winners in the ENFOQUE CONECTA contest, a global photography networking platform, receiving recognition in the category of emerging and amateur Latin American photographers.
In 2024, I was invited to participate in the 'Más Allá' exhibition at the Maja Museum in Jericó, which took place from June 1 to July 27. There, I presented works from my series Cautiverio, Árbol de Vida, and AdPortas.
Since August 2024, some of my works from the series Cautiverio and Árbol de Vida have been on display at the Parque de la Conservación in Medellín.
In 2015, I began taking photography and editing classes and courses, and since 2017, I have been studying photography in a tutorial format with Professor Alberto Montoya.
Under Professor Alberto's guidance, I discovered my passion for artistic photography, striving to go beyond simple visual documentation. My approach combines elements of surrealist and figurative photography, aiming to convey messages in a unique way.
