Manolo Moran was born in 1961 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He started his career as a photographer in Barcelona, back in 1985.
After returning to Brazil, he decided to focus on ad photography.
He has won several Cannes Lions at the International Advertising Festival and was elected the best ad photographer in the period 1995-2000 by the Brazilian magazine "Meio & Mensagem".
His work privileges portraits, beauty and awkward characters.
Along with his ad photography jobs, Manolo has been developing an authorial work, inspired by distinct subjects, from singular portraits to exotic landscapes, including close details of reality such as the selection that is presented here.
