My work mainly focuses on highly-detailed colorful paintings where elements from the real world, the dreamlike and the abstract frequently merge together.
I like to invite the viewers to get lost and navigate through my compositions as if they’re visiting a place they’ve never seen before.
City and landscape representations investigate the relationship between the work of man and nature, either in its beauty or in its monstrosity, and how they can transform each other during time, while in the dreamlike compositions I want to decrypt and translate into paint the puzzling ways dreams work.
Lately I’m working on a new series that will break into the dimension of abstract, a different and more evasive way of translating many aspects of the world and nature such as the fluidity of the elements, the atomic and the microscopical structures of things, and so the vision of the universe as a whole game of shapes, colors, forces, movements and sounds.
