Mariia Mityakova

I was born on Solovetsky Island in the White Sea
and I now live in Indonesia, on the island of Bali.
I grew up in a family of artists and began painting from an early age - art has always been a natural way for me to express myself and share my energy with others.

In my work, I combine classical painting techniques with elements of street art, conveying my personal perception of the world. Inspiration often strikes when I paint on the walls of abandoned buildings — such moments spark ideas for future projects.

Traveling and immersing myself in different cultures deeply influence my art, helping me discover fresh themes and imagery. My paintings are held in private collections in Russia, Israel,Germany Portugal,Indonesia and the Netherlands.

I am equally drawn to the precision of realism and the vibrant freedom of street art. I love exploring the balance between these worlds, blending techniques and experimenting to create works where classical tradition meets the boldness of contemporary art.

(2002-2007) She studied at the School of Arts at the Repin Academy of Arts at the Department of Painting.
