Jari Di Giampietro

YariDG is an Italian figurative painter whose work explores the relationship between humanity and nature through symbolic realism, magical realism and subtle surrealist elements. His oil paintings depict metamorphoses between the human body and botanical forms, reflecting on memory, trasformation and invisible forces that connect all living beings. Alongside his painting practice, he has worked for over a decade as a realistic tattoo artist, where the same attention to anatomy, light and detail informs his artistic language.

Drawing has been a lifelong practice. After attending the Art High School in Pescara and two years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, he continued to develop his artistic language through independent study, daily practice, and the observation of the great masters of European painting.
