Yunn Ru Soo

Having grown up in a family of creative minds, I do enjoy self-expression through oils and acrylics. Beyond the world of painting, I have been traveling around the world for work as a fashion model. I find inspirations emerge anywhere, from the interpersonal connections of daily life to the observation of organic lines and textures that represent the signature of all things.

My style is where I place emphasis on colours and strokes. My work combines expressionism and abstract elements. To me, creativity is the act of experiencing the unconscious in the conscious. It's a beautiful thing when it visits me and my role is to bring out the ideas.

I am currently based in Sydney where the sunny coastline reminds me of home, the tropical shores of Sabah better known as the land below the wind.
