Josiah Stam

Josiah Stam is a modern artist who loves to experiment with a variety of styles, share profound ideas through creativity, and talk about himself in the third person. Josiah draws inspiration from contemporary artists such as Joan Mitchell, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Kaws. He is very moved in his own artwork by the music he likes and the concepts he encounters from books, conversations, and his semi-rational conjectures about the universe in this age of modernity.

In the past several years Josiah has had the opportunity to exhibit his artwork at
several galleries in the Virginia-Tennessee area including a nation wide juried show at Riverviews Artspace, a juried show at the Knoxville Art Emporium, multiple shows at Abingdon’s Arts Depot, as well as winning best in show at Liberty University’s Art Expo and serving as Art Director for the Zeta Chi Art Honors Society.
