Kesu Gupta

I am a contemporary artist with formal training in design. My current body of work celebrates organic forms, vibrant colors, rich textures and layers. My studio practice embraces liberation from the “paint brush”. I have a deep appreciation for the dynamic and unexpected nature of manipulating drops of fluid ink to create visually stunning pieces.

The evolution of my art process is a direct reflection of my life’s journey. As I kept breaking free from corporate structures, societal norms, and cultural expectations, my art style transformed from geometric, controlled, and planned to fluid, bold, and intuitive. During my studies in interior architecture and my practice as a graphic designer, I became fascinated with color therapy and delved deeper into color psychology and its impact on emotions. While being able to create on digital platforms, I started to realize the importance of physically crafting objects and the harmonizing effect it has on the mind and body.
