Yuri Vladimirovich Kozlyuk is one of the brightest representatives of sentimentalism in Russian art of the late 20th - early 21st centuries. Based on the traditions of the Russian and European schools, the painter managed to create an inimitable coloristic atmosphere in his works.

In 1981 he entered the Zheleznogorsk Art College. As a student, he often came to Leningrad and studied in the creative workshop of the People's Artist of the RSFSR E.E. Moiseenko.
Upon completion of his education, the young artist worked enthusiastically in the field of theatrical posters. Cooperation with the Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater for Young People under the direction of choreographer Georgy Kovtun turned out to be especially fruitful.
In 1988. Kozlyuk Yu.V. was awarded the Silver Medal of the VDNH of the USSR in Moscow for a series of socio-political posters.
