My name is Alycia Shiann and I am a 25-year-old painter and muralist from Long Beach, CA. I create artwork to assist people in reconnecting with their spirit and finding a foundation through nature. I believe that nature is extremely important to our physical and mental well-being. We are often caught up with material possessions and anxieties of daily life that we start to neglect not only ourselves, but our values too. Our planet provides us with beauty and natural resources that we would cease to exist without it. Using vibrant colors, spirituality, and symbolism, my artwork depicts all aspects of nature from landscapes to animals to humanity's spirit connection to nature. I want my audiences to immerse themselves in nature not only to heal their soul, but to understand how vital it is that we heal our planet.
