Born: Milwaukee, WI I had a strong desire to create and be heard as a child. At age fourteen I began painting in oil paints and found that I could create a world. Painting for me is both a visual observation and a psychological study. My work is predominantly figurative. I love the flesh, anatomy and way that a subject holds themselves within their environment. I received a BFA and a scholarship from Pacific Northwest College of Art where I had the privilege to learn under artists; Robert Hanson, Judy Cook and Paul Missal.
