Avetis Mkrtchyan

Like father, like son. Since Avetis was 12 years old, he was going with his father and also his first teacher, the renowned armenian painter Evrik Mkrtchyan, to the pleinair.
After that he fall in love with nature, especially spring time, when everything is blooming, turning green, when new hopes are growing and the man,being part of the nature, reflects all the beauty, and the gifted man, the artist, captures all this in painting.
Avetis works with all the classic art materials such as watercolor, pastel, gouache and oils, he prefers to work in portraiture,figurative and landscape genres .Since 2000 until now he teaches, transferring his knowledge and experience to young people.
He had several personal exhibitions and took part of other collective ones. His work can be found in many private collections all around the world.
