I am a professional artist living in Florida. I have been an artist since I painted a Matisse replica at the age of three. I did not originally pursue what I was born to be, an artist and a writer, until my father demanded it when he disclosed a terminal pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
I have been a professional artist for the past four years. My work is captivating and brilliant. A lot of my subject matter revolves around guitars and my perspective of the world around me.
I have a wide variety in my work, from ocean scenes, abstract landscapes, pop art, and guitars. I use a lot of color in my pieces which look better in person due to the utilization of metallic acrylics in most of my more recent pieces.
My preferred mediums are acrylics, oil pastels, and ink.
Kelly attended The Bolles School (Jacksonville, Florida) where she studied art under Peter Leventhal. She went onto Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California where she studied mural painting briefly under Art Mortimer. She graduated from Florida Community College at Jacksonville with an Associates Degree.
After a hiatus from her artistic calling to pursue a career in the financial industry, she changed course in life when her father received a terminal pancreatic cancer diagnosis. She went back to school at Full Sail University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
