As an Abstract painter, I push the boundaries - Always questioning, always curious, forever exploring. Spontaneity and Intuition guide me. Memory is always there and is an important element in the paintings.

Influenced by Nature, human nature, history and science, I'm drawn to color, line and form to awaken the senses and capture the imagination - to create a sense of wonder.

Born in Washington DC in 1965, to a patent attorney father and an artistic mother, I grew up with gardens to play in, proper Southern cooking and a carefree childhood. With an abundance of time to roam the woods, to play, and to dream, my imagination has always been my guide.

With formal degrees and careers in chemical/ environmental engineering and interior design, I’ve practiced art more organically since childhood, taking art classes - from figure drawing to ceramics to painting.
