Cindy Franz

I grew up in the Chicago area, and studied art there. I also studied drawing at the New York Studio School, and ceramics at Greenwich House Pottery, both in Manhattan.
I work in mixed media; drawing, painting, collage, and also ceramic.
My work is expressive, and is currently incorporating the figure into a semi abstract background.
I use my art to express personal experiences, as well as to explore space on the picture plane.
