Manuela Reitz

I trained myself in painting for many years until I completed a degree in painting and graphic design. I have been working freelance in my own studio since 2001.
My pictures are often influenced by comic or pop art motifs. I painted the comic motifs when I was a child. They are still part of my painting today because they are a part of me. I like to paint with bright colors. This corresponds to my attitude to life and my temperament. To this day, my joy of experimentation knows no bounds. My preferred painting medium is acrylic paint, which best suits my artistic temperament. The quick-drying process is very suitable for quickly converting my spontaneous and intuitive thoughts into the rhythm of painting. The paint marker and black ink are used to create individual accents in the image.
