Melissa Campbell

Melissa works with textile and digital media creating 2d and 3d work. Her artwork is an exploration of pattern and transition, mining the images and emotions she remembers from a childhood spent living on the road. For most of her life she has enjoyed a continuous rolling change of languages and cultures, living and passing through France, England, Holland and America. As a child long car rides across countries and continents provided time for hours immersed in the beauty of landscapes and the study of patterns and rhythms. Today Melissa responds to those experiences in her artwork.

Melissa earned an MFA in studio art from Kent State University and a BS in Environmental Design from UC Davis.
