His training began at the Academia Peña and later at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Madrid (Complutense University). In 1977 he moved to Barcelona where he was part of Equip Butifarra, a collective of cartoonists, illustrators and scriptwriters linked to social movements. He has worked for 30 years in some advertising agencies and as freelance illustrator and graphic designer as well as in the design, coordination and building exhibition spaces for cultural, institutional and commercial events. He paints and draws with a style influenced by his practice as an illustrator but looking for his own language as a visual artist. His works have been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions in Angoulême (France), Barcelona, Madrid, Soto del Real and Bustarviejo.
