Whenever I go out, I always carry paper, pencils, and markers in my backpack (and recently an iPad) so that I can draw whenever I want to, and when I come across a scene that catches my eye, I stop and draw while standing there. When I want to draw a strong, clear line, I first draw the outline with a marker pen, then shades it with a pencil. I continued my spontaneous project "Everyday I draw Barcelona" for about four years, drawing scenes from various street corners in Barcelona on the spot every day. I am attracted to everyday scenes that are away from the hustle and bustle of tourist spots and where I can feel the breath of the local people. When I draw outdoors, immersing myself in the location for a while, the atmosphere of that place and time is captured in the drawing, and I believe that the spatial composition drawn from my own unique perspective can be expressed in a different way to a photograph. My artwork has been commercialized into posters, T-shirts, tote bags, and more, and is available for sale in stores in Barcelona and online. In 2023, I was responsible for the illustrations for the book “2048×100=Barcelona: 100 voices for the future of the city," published by Associació Antic Gremi de Revenedors, the oldest chamber of commerce in Catalonia with a history dating back to the 15th century. In 2024, I was responsible for a illustration presented by the City of Barcelona to FC Barcelona to commemorate their Women's Champions League victory.
